Commune management

Within the County of Hunedoara a number of 48 localities are foreseen with water supplying system having arranged water sources and supply networks, whereof 35 localities are located in the rural environment.

The capacity of water captation sources exceeds 4.900 l/s, respectively 428.000 mc/day, whereof 70% distributed towards the population.

The length of the water distribution network is 795,1 km and 270 km the adduction network. The number of localities foreseen with canalization network is 27 whereof 15 localities with stations for chemical or biological cleaning of the water sources.

Regarding the natural gas network 18 localities dispose of networks for natural gas supply requested for heating buildings and domestic water.

The locative fund within the County of Hunedoara is of 191,079 apartments, whereof, regarding the property form, are, 36,240 state apartments, and 154,359 private property of the population.
