A partnership comprising the University of
Bucharest , the Hateg Dinosaurs Geopark Association, the Natural
History Museum “Grigore Antipa”, the Romanian Peasant's National Museum
, and the Geological Museum launched a totally new concept of
cooperation and partnership in order to promote and sustain different
regions of Romania in their attempt for local development. The aim is
to use in common and in an active way the data and experience each
partner has about different areas of Romania (flora and fauna,
traditions, geology, folk music, social studies, ethnic studies).
The first event is dedicated to Hateg Country as a step in the process of implementing of the Hateg Country Geopark strategy and will allow partners to develop a model on which to organize events for other areas of Romania .
